If you’re interested in a quick method to test a market, I’ve found to the Edge Blueprint is an interesting way to get started fast. Also, I like that it doesn’t rely on Google to provide you with your traffic source. The whole PPV thing was new to me as a traffic generation method, but it does get you traffic. Still with their “internet marketers promise” of canning your day job in 6 months, I figured it was worth a look.
If you haven’t seen the Edge Blueprint yet, check out their website. You have to opt-in register, but they haven’t spammed me… yet.
They’ve done a good job creating videos are clear, and the steps pretty straightforward. But if you don’t have your own team to work with (and their unlimited budget), you could easily waste invest a lot of time on data gathering steps. This is repetitive and tedious stuff I hate. So I created a way to shortcut the process.
Time == Money. Don’t Waste It
I am sure even Jon Dean would be the first to admit that it does take a fair bit of time to get your projects running from idea to testing. From the initial identification of a product to test to actually getting it running can be a crapload of repetitive work that can’t be fully automated. I found myself spending more time processing keywords and URLs that actually watching the campaign run. The road is bumpy one if you’re trying to go it alone.
So… that led me to create a workflow specifically to get through the steps to set up a campaign, I figured others were havnig the same problem, so I put it together and sewed it up into package I’m sharing with fellow Blueprinters.
If you want some of my tips and tricks to save yourself time for each campaign, you could download my handy cheat sheet for getting campaigns up and running fast. It’s taken the basics outlines in the videos and distilled it down into just over ten pages of methods and short cuts you can use right now to get an edge on the Edge.
Get The Shortcuts
There is no opt-in, I’m just handing these out for anyone to use along with an added Excel worksheet with all the formula short cuts, most of which aren’t used in the videos, but they will save you potentially many hours of work. (I haven’t tested this with Google Docs, if you try it please let me know your results.)
All I ask is that if you find it useful or it saves you time, please leave a comment with your results.
Also, I plan to release other tutorials, screencasts and shortcuts (including some videos) in the next week, so you should be following me on Twitter here (@jimfmunro) or if Facebook is more your thing, you can Like me here. (I feel pretty weird saying that.) You should also sign up for the mailing list updates over in the sidebar.

Good luck on your next campaign. See you in 6 months!
(Note: This program doesn’t have an affiliate program that I know of so I’m not getting money to put this out, other than the time I’ve saved for myself.)

Another technique that you may consider for weeding out things like .au is to use Find to Find All (not replace anything), then go to Background Color and choose a bright color. All the ones with .au will then be VERY noticeable. You can then just go down the list and delete them one at a time or in small groups. One thing to remember: The background color stays with the cell, not the information, so don’t re-Sort anything until you’ve deleted them all. You can then highlight the whole sheet and choose No Background in the Background Color.
